Breakfast

This morning I took a picture of my breakfast. It occurs to me that maybe I should get out of the house more.

But can you blame me? Look how pretty it looks. And yes, in case you were wondering, it was delicious.

Did I pick that bowl out specifically because I planned to photograph my breakfast? Yes. I have priorities. And cereal is one of them. It is, though I’m a little ashamed to admit it, one of my absolute favorite foods. I’ve been known to skip dinner and eat a bowl before bed. I’d say it would be my “desert island” food but inevitably the milk would curdle in the hot tropical sun and then I’d be screwed.

What’s your favorite kind of cereal? Answer carefully โ€” I’m judging you.

  1. I couldn’t possibly choose an all-time favorite…

    There’s a list.

Frosted Flakes, Bran Flakes (no raisins! ewww!), Grape Nuts, and Captain Crunch. Oh and Quaker Oat Squares, the Hint of Brown Sugar kind. Those I even eat dry with peanut butter. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’m with Jillian – those Quaker Oat Squares sure are delicious. Milk ruins them. ๐Ÿ˜‰

My favorite cereal is Lucky Charms and Reese’s PB is pretty darn awesome.

Now I want cereal and it’s all your fault.

  3. I have to agree, cereal is the one thing I can eat every morning and some evenings and feel completely satisfied. My favorites include but are not limited to Kix, Crispix, Quaker Oatmeal Squares, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Lucky Charms. Mmmmmmm.

  4. Your breakfast really is super attractive. I too, am a cereal buff, so much so that I have different cereals for different occasions. I like hot oatmeal in the morning, Cheerios in the afternoon, granola before running, and Reese’s Puffs after dinner. Just to be clear, I don’t eat four bowls of cereal every day.
